Advantages of ISP-Based PLDs over Traditional PLDs

چکیده
Introduction As time-to-market pressures increase, design engineers continually look for ways to advance the development of system-level products and ensure problem-free manufacturing. Programmable logic devices (PLDs) that support in-system programmability (ISP) can help accelerate development time, simplify manufacturing flow, lower inventory costs, and improve printed circuit board (PCB) testing capabilities.

A PLDS: Partitioning Linked Data Structures for Parallelism
Recently, parallelization of computations in the presence of dynamic data structures has shown promising potential. In this paper, we present PLDS, a system for easily expressing and efficiently exploiting parallelism in computations that are based upon dynamic linked data structures. PLDS improves the execution efficiency by providing support for data partitioning and then distributing computa...
متن کاملRegulatory functions of phospholipase D and phosphatidic acid in plant growth, development, and stress responses.
Phospholipase D (PLD) hydrolyzes membrane lipids to generate phosphatidic acid (PA) and a free-head group (Fig. 1), and this activity is widespread in plants. Recent results indicate that PLD plays multiple regulatory roles in diverse plant processes, including abscisic acid (ABA) signaling, programmed cell death, root hair patterning, root growth, freezing tolerance, and other stress responses...
متن کاملIn-Circuit Test Vendor Support
In-circuit testers are widely used for manufacturing tests and for the measurement of printed circuit board (PCB) systems. In-circuit testers can also program and verify programmable logic devices (PLDs) that support in-system programmability (ISP). Using in-circuit testers to program ISP-capable devices allows device programming to fit into the standard manufacturing flow, reducing time-to-mar...
متن کاملClinical trials validate the severity of persistent Lyme disease symptoms.
BACKGROUND Persistent Lyme Disease Symptoms (PLDS) have included fatigue, headaches, poor concentration and memory, lightheadedness, joint pain, and mood disturbances. Evidence-based guidelines committees disagree over the severity of PLDS. The 2004 International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) concluded that PLDS are severe. The 2006 Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) gu...
